See how easy it is to save water & energy…
This month we took a visit down to Chelsea to the PHEX Show to see our client Neoperl demonstrate their products. They had taken along their demonstration rig to show plumbers and installers just how easy it is to save water using their precision-made Pressure Compensating Aerators (PCAs) and Flow Regulators. The latter they make in their Malvern factory and they are without doubt one of the World’s leading producers of these products.
These devices can be easily retro-fitted into our taps and valve showers to reduce and control the flow of water. If you have an average European shower head, it uses C: 18 litres of water each minute. Reducing that flow slightly to 12 litres using a flow regulator would save 60 litres of water in each 10-minute shower. Imagine how much that equates to over a year in a family home. Not only do these devices help you save water, but also the energy used to heat it.
We’ve fitted them in all our taps throughout the home. Our shower used to splash out of the enclosure onto the bathroom floor and this has now stopped. And our cloakroom tap, in particular, used to splash clothes as it sits over quite a small basin, not any more.
It’s really easy to make the change. It saves you money and you could be doing your bit to help save water and the environment. Take a look at their website at neoperl.com and ask your plumber to help you make this change.
