SR Timber

We started handling the PR and Comms for SR Timber in January 2024 and it has opened our minds to the technical world of timber that is used in construction, and in particular their speciality, graded roofing batten that adheres to BS 5534.

SR Timber is based in Huthwaite in Nottinghamshire and is a leading UK importer of timber. They work with the largest roofing batten production mill in Europe and import timber into Immingham docks where they keep large stocks of this sustainable sourced slow-grown timber.

Shaun Revill is the SR in SR Timber and he is a guru in the timber batten market, supplying builders and timber merchants with timber products across the UK.

Our involvement is supporting Shaun and the team at SR Timber in promoting the importance of using graded timber batten in roof refurbishments and new builds. We spend time with the team writing regular articles for the trade press and posting engaging content for their website and social media channels.
