Lots of new products for Kudos as they celebrate 25 years trading…

2024 has been a busy year for our client Kudos Showers, with lots of showering products to launch. We have therefore clocked up many hours in writing up these news stories, largely for the trade press, to ensure that all their distributor, retailer and merchant customers are aware of these stunning new developments.

Starting in January, the business introduced its first ‘group’ product, the Divera range of shower enclosures by Kudos. The range is a diverse collection that includes sliding bi-fold, hinged and quadrant enclosure door options with wet room panels, side panels and accessories in a matt black or high gloss silver finish. It is an entry-level product for Kudos, stretching the brand offer to attract a wider customer base, and they have seen an unprecedented take up on the range.

In March, they introduced their Ultimate slimline, trimmable shower trays. An innovative collection of lightweight, slip and stain-resistant trays standing just 27mm in height and coming in 2 slate effect finishes, four bespoke coloured options and 19 standard sizes. This was followed in April with a launch of accessories for their wetroom panels, including various coloured finishes of new interconnectors, corner posts and profiles and mirrored décor panels for additional personalisation in the bathroom. Their new product calendar is busy all year as they will soon be unveiling another budget-conscious new 8mm enclosure collection in Autumn called Siona, plus more level access products and key additions to existing ranges in both their premium and core product collections.

Their product drive has not just been about stretching the price bands but also reflecting an ageing population and multi-generational living. The new shower trays with anti-slip and extra slimline trays are all designed to aid safety and future-proof the home. The product is designed for multiple age groups. They are seeing a growth in sales for their wet room products too. And offering elements that allow a customer to truly personalise their bathroom space is growing in popularity, even down to the waste position within a shower tray or wet room.

Being part of the RONAL Bathrooms Group has been a positive step change for the business, and that has been realised over 2024. The business now holds the position of the largest shower enclosure brand in Europe when it combines its sister brands of Ronal, Glass, Karol, and Kudos. That offers a wealth of expertise and resources to draw from and aids much of the strategic drive for growth in the UK through their Kudos brand.

So, in addition to a busy product development schedule, the business has invested in the production area in Holme in Cumbria to increase capacity, and it is in the midst of extending its finished goods warehouse in Sandbach to more than double its original size.  All this ensures that their focus on customer service continues despite a growing product range and increasing sales.

Kudos is a great brand to work with and they are celebrating 25 years in business this year…. Congratulations.
